Summer or Christmas?

Such a busy week of posts! It's been a VERY long time since I've posted everyday of the week. If i've made any hiccups I blame it on staying up till midnight doing the posts!

Today there's a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. This week it's a sketch. When I was making this card I was really into it. I love how the papers are strawberry with the new Tilda with a Strawberry. Then Belle, my 8 year old said "Mom, WHY are you making Christmas cards?" So now everytime I look at this card  see Christmas!!!! UGH! It's cute though. Just looks very Christmasy. Oh well!

Magnolia-licious Blog Hop!

Hi everyone. Welcome to another Magnolia-licious Blog Hop! This month our theme is black, white plus one other color. Of course I chose pink! I decided to do a black and white image. I just love the way this card came out. I cannot get enough of this new Magnolia Butterfly die. I've used #211 Explore Tilda I just love her.

Magnolia Mini World Album!

Hello my friends! I have a project to show you that took me forever to make! About 4 days. All the stamps you see here are in Magnolia's Sweet Rainbow Collection. The album spells mini, but with my little oval tags should read Magnolia Mini World. I was going to keep this a surprise but I cannot keep my big ole mouth shut. I've made this for a very dear friend, Diana Crick,  the owner of Magnolia-licious and wholesale distributor of the Magnolia Minis. If you will be going to CHA this little album will be on display there!

I've incorporated Just Magnolia into this project for this weeks challenge. Michelle chose the theme this week and it's Paper Piecing. I've paper pieced the Scarecrow Tilda on the cover and also the Rocking Tilda on the last page. I never do this technique it's really fun and different. I hope you will join us over at Just Magnolia and hAngler this week!

I've also made this for Fussy and Fancy. Our theme is to CASE a DT member. So check out the lovely creations by the design team and let one of them inspire you to create! I hope you will join us over at Fussy and Fancy, too!

Summer Rain Tilda!

Hello! Man it's been a busy week. I've been go, go, go yet  don't feel like I've gotten anything done! I have a card for Just Magnolia and hAngler. It's a Sketch by Jacque. It's a fun one too! I bought these papers about 6 months ago and never had the right stamp until now! How cute do they go together?!?! I wanted to used really light colors to give it that Summer/Spring feel. Yup, I love it!

Hi there! Today there's a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. The challenge is Pins and Pearls. This is actually a card front that I'm sending to Diana for Summer CHA. I've used the new background from the Sweet Rainbow Collection which is now available at the best Magnolia store, Magnolia-licious! I really love the way this card came out. I tried to go for a more elegant look. I'm not sure I accomplished it, but I do like it. I hope you will join us over at Cute Card Thursday this week!

The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge 1.

Hello my bloggging friends. How was you weekend. Mine was productive. I completed 5 cards for design team commitments! I just love to get a head! I feel like I create better when the pressure isn't there. I get a little more creative too.

 I made this card for 2 design teams. First one is for The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge. The day is finally here. Magnolia has a challenge blog for all all us Magnolia lovers. The theme is Birthday to celebrate Pauline's Birthday. For you all who aren't sure who Pauline is she is the amazing artist that created Tilda and Edwin! Her birthday is this month so, Happy Birthday Pauline!

A Father's Day Card!

Well hello again, bet you didn't think I was going to use this stamp so soon. :) LOL! I didn't make them back to back though, it just happens to be that I'm posting them that way. I had to use this stamp on a Fathers Day card. The image is too perfect! Especially cause my dad would always take me fishing as a kid.

This card is for Just Magnolia and hAngler, the theme is Lace. It's also for Fussy and Fancy which is to make a card for Father's Day or for a man. I chose to make one for my dad. He calls me EVERYDAY and is always encouraging me to do what I love with my crafts. I really love the way this card came out.  It's probably the most masculine I can do. I freaked out a little when I saw the challenge even double checked that I was able to put flowers on it. I can't make a card without my Wild Orchid Flowers!!

Tilda Goes fishing at Cute Card Thursday!

Hello everyone. Happy Thursday. Today there's a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. The challenge is to embellish your image. I've added pearls to Tilda's overalls. I LOVE this image. She reminds me of me when I was little. I wish I could find the photo I have of me at the lake with my Papa Lee, who passed away 3 years ago at the age of 91. He used to live in Bishop, California. We used to go fishing all the time. So when I look at this stamp it really brings back a ton childhood memories for me. I'm probably going to be using this stamp a lot! :) The background image is an Alota mini stamp. You can find it and a whole bunch of backgrounds at Magnolia-licious. They go perfecty with Magnolia Stamps!
