Summer Fun!

Happy Friday to all my lovely bloggin' buddies! I have a card for Just Magnolia and hAngler. I LOVE the way it came out. The theme is Holiday. I chose to do a Summer Holiday card. I love the big ole ice cream, I used a blade to cut around her thumb to make her look like she's holding the ice cream. I love these colors too. I really enjoyed making this card and I feel like I've redeemed myself from my last weeks card. :)

Yummy, Yummy Cake!!!

Hello my friends out there in blogging land. Today there's a super fun challenge over Just Magnolia and hAngler. Theme is chosen by my super talented friend Dena! She has chosen 'Cooking' as the theme and I have been waiting for a cooking theme to come up on one of my design teams to make this project I have to share with you. I used the 3x3 Card Box on Splitcoast. I covered the bottom part with Peony Flowersoft and the lid with some paint for clothing since there's a small tip.

Anyways I hope you like my Cake and will participate in our challenge.

Summer or Christmas?

Such a busy week of posts! It's been a VERY long time since I've posted everyday of the week. If i've made any hiccups I blame it on staying up till midnight doing the posts!

Today there's a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. This week it's a sketch. When I was making this card I was really into it. I love how the papers are strawberry with the new Tilda with a Strawberry. Then Belle, my 8 year old said "Mom, WHY are you making Christmas cards?" So now everytime I look at this card  see Christmas!!!! UGH! It's cute though. Just looks very Christmasy. Oh well!

Tilda at the Carnival!!!

Hello everyone! I have some awesome news! Zoe has asked me to be Guest Designer for the month of April over at Make it Crafty! How awesome is that!?!? I just love this Candy Cart Digi, soon as I saw it I wanted it for this particular Tilda. Doesn't it go perfectly together. The theme over at Make it Crafty this week is to use Bright Colors. I will be honest this is not a strong point for me, but I've been wanting to color brighter. When I first started coloring these images I was not feeling it. ONLY because I was using so many different colors. It wasn't going together. Once I started putting the card together I started liking it. I still think my coloring is off. I need to clean a few of my Copic nibs I feel like it looks a little chunked on her skin. So my tip of the day is.. FINISH YOUR CARDS! Even if you are not "feeling it" Once it's all put together it may come out better than you planned! :)

I want to thank Zoe and her extremely talented design team for having me aboard this month! It's going to be a fun one!!!

Love to cook, recipe box!

Hello there! I'm scheduling this post, since I'm at CHA!!! Wahoo!!!! LOL :)

Here's my project for the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge. Our theme  is "love" I made a recipe box that says Love to Cook! Which I do! I would do it a lot more if everyone in my household wasn't so darn picky! I actually made this for Diana to display Mini Magnolia World at CHA. I also made made matching recipe cards too, which I'll show you another day :)

I used so many flowers on here, I'm so happy with the way it came out.

Happy Tuesday stamping buddies! I made this card for my Really Reasonable Ribbon Posting. I really love this card. I wanted to do something different with my ribbon so I decided to put actual ribbon on the stamped image. I think it turned out really cute and makes the cupcake pop!

My friend Sherri came over the other day and I was showing her all my new cards I've made. She mentioned how she needed to get a card for her mother in law, I was like HELLO..... pick one! Then decided to make her a new one. I really love the way it turned out, I hope her mother in law loves it too!
